<aside> <img src="/icons/info-alternate_purple.svg" alt="/icons/info-alternate_purple.svg" width="40px" /> INFOS In short a discovery report is a document where a newcomer can write down his or her observations upon arrival in a new company or in a new team: the good, the bad, the neutral and suggestions. It has to be done over a pretty long observation period, let’s say 1 month, then the newcomer should share and/or present it to the right audience (manager, direct collaborators…).
Chances are that some infos should just stay between your manager and yourself so you can create as many versions and just remove the sensitive part depending on the audience.
This exercice allow you to express yourself from the get got, it’s also a really great tool to make people re-examine the context they are in and their habits.
